Art therapy is a dynamic client-centered form of psychotherapy

Art Therapy utilizes the creative process to explore and understand emotions, thoughts and experiences. Through painting, drawing, sculpture, and more, you can communicate and process your inner world in ways that words alone may not capture. The goal is not necessarily to produce masterpieces, but rather to use the creative process as a means of self-discovery, emotional expression, relaxation, problem-solving and communication, all while externalizing issues to make them more manageable.

Art therapy is suitable for clients of all ages and backgrounds, regardless of artistic skill or background.

Sessions are available in person or through telehealth and last 50 minutes with frequency depending on your needs.

Art therapy enhances emotional well-being and often addresses a range of issues including:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Grief
  • Trauma
  • Self-esteem
  • Stress
  • Burnout
  • And more
