Psychotherapist Jackie Kennedy

Meet Jackie

Hi, I’m Jackie (she/her). I specialize in grief & loss, stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional awareness/regulation and self-esteem.

As an experienced eclectic therapist with over 11 years of creating and holding space for people through therapy, I integrate evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches such as CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Art Therapy. Specializing in working with children (6+), youth, and adults, I prioritize building a collaborative therapeutic relationship. I believe in creating a safe space to express, process, and normalize emotions, thoughts, and needs. My practice centers on curiosity and empathy and also values the transformative potential of art in fostering emotional regulation, problem-solving, understanding, and personal growth. My professional journey began in hospice bereavement as an extension of my own personal experiences with grief and loss.

In addition to finding meaning and purpose as an RP, I love spending time with my husband, 2 daughters, pets and extended family. I feel at home in nature and am a lover of reading, making art, going for walks, listening to podcasts, and binge watching TV.
